Liner Notes
This is the first Chicago song I have recorded, and it’s been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. I’m also a big fan of “Hard to Say I’m Sorry” so watch for that one from me soon, as well.
The lyrics are pure and potent, and the vocal melody is like the primal scream from a broken heart: tender, sincere, sad. I know we all can relate to this song at various times in our lives. So this is for all of the mending broken hearts out there.
My guitar is an Ovation Custom Legend, made in the U.S.A. I’m an Ovation-sponsored artist: https://ovationguitars.com/artists
Thanks to Bryce for the bass part. You nailed it, and it’s always a pleasure to work with you.
Thanks to my wife, Valia, for filming the video during our social distancing. As Bryce commented, she’s got a great eye for this sort of thing.
Thanks for reading, and please remember to Like, Subscribe, and Share. It all helps a lot.
Love,
